Terms of Service

What this service is

Mekha Online is a free online game played in the browser. We keep developing the game, so we may add, change, or remove content and systems, including adjusting game numbers.

Age and minors

If you are under 20 years old, you need parental consent before signing up. Parents are responsible for the use of minors under their care.

Your account

• One account can hold 4 characters and be online with one character at a time.
• The account is yours alone. Keep your password safe and don't let anyone else use it.
• Use a real email address you can access, as we use it to verify your identity when you ask for help.
• A guest account can play without signing up, but can't buy Ruby, trade, send mail, use the Auction House or type in public chat channels until it is bound. A guest account lives only in that browser on that device: if you sign out or clear the browser's data before binding, you can't get back to those characters, and we can't recover them
• Character names must not be offensive, and must not impersonate the team or others. We may change or delete names that break the rules.

Manners and chat

We want Mekha to be a world where everyone can play comfortably. Prohibited:

• Insulting, harassing, threatening, or stalking other players.
• Using slurs about race, religion, gender, or disability.
• Publishing other people's personal data
• Posting sexual content, inappropriate content involving children, or illegal content.
• Spam, advertising, or phishing links
• Impersonating the team, or tricking others into giving up their accounts and items.

All chat channels, including whispers, are logged for review when problems arise. See Privacy Policy for details.

Fair play

Using external cheat programs, bots, macros, or anything that modifies the game or its network traffic is prohibited. Don't exploit bugs or make the server malfunction. If you find a bug, report it to us. The built-in auto combat system may be used normally.

Match-fixing, throwing fights, or using multiple characters or accounts to inflate PvP rankings and rewards is prohibited.

Real-money trading is not allowed

Buying, selling, renting, or trading accounts, characters, items, or gold for real money or anything of value outside the game is prohibited, including paid play services. Related accounts may be suspended, and we do not help recover anything lost in such trades.

In-game items and property

Characters, items, gold, and everything in the game are a right to use that we grant you within the game. They are not your property and have no real-money value.

Gear and gold you traded, mailed, or sold to other players at the Auction House are considered transferred. Shipping, listing fees, and the cut already taken are not refunded. We may consider helping case by case when it was caused by a game bug or unauthorized account access.

When a new season starts, characters may restart fresh, and items and gold in mail and the Auction House will disappear at the same time. We'll announce this in advance in game news.

Gift codes and event rewards are free items in the game with no real-money value. They are valid under each code's conditions and may expire or be closed. If they were obtained through a bug or cheating, we may remove them.

Payments

The game currently has no payments. If we sell anything in the future, we'll announce the terms first and ask you about the new terms.

Penalties

If you break these terms, we may warn you, mute chat, suspend your game access temporarily or permanently, rename your character, or remove items obtained improperly, depending on the severity.

If you think we made a wrong decision, email an appeal to support@mekha.online. Deleting a character to avoid a penalty doesn't work; while it's in the deletion bin, the penalty still applies to that character.

Ending the service

You can delete a character or account at any time at the campfire. Deleted characters can be restored within 30 days. See Privacy Policy for details.

Intellectual property

The game's images, sound, music, story, names, and code belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. Copying or commercial use without permission is prohibited. You may take screenshots, record clips, and stream the game.

What you create in the game, such as character names, clan names, and chat messages, remains yours, but you allow us to display these within the game and related services.

Service and liability

We try to make the game work its best, but the game may go down for updates, crash, or some data may be damaged. We provide the service as is, and our liability is limited to what the law allows. These terms don't remove the consumer protections the law gives you.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change materially, we'll announce it in game news and ask you again at your next login. If you don't accept the new version, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
